Primary Bank announces they have been recognized by Capital Performance Group as one of the top-100 publicly traded banks in the United States, with assets under $2 billion.
When compared to other publicly traded banks, the banks that made this year’s list posted stronger growth across several categories. Primary Bank is the only bank in the State of New Hampshire recognized for its performance.

Granite State Development Corporation Names Primary Bank "Top Lending SBA Partner"
Primary Bank is proud to be named Granite State Development Corporation’s “Top Lending SBA Partner.” Additionally, Primary Bank announces that Scott Kingsley, VP Loan Officer was named Granite State Development Corporation’s “Top Lending Individual Partner.” These awards underscore the bank’s commitment to the New Hampshire small business community and highlight our entrepreneurial nature.
Granite State Development Corp. is the number one Certified Development Company (CDC) in New England and is one of the largest CDCs nationwide. The Small Business Association (SBA) 504 Loan Program is designed to help small business owners with long-term financing for capital assets, such as commercial real estate and equipment.
Primary Bank partners with GSDC, who through the SBA 504 loan program, provides financing for businesses to make investments in their own facilities, allow for expansion, and create new jobs in the granite state.

The competition attracted applicants from across the state and Primary Bank was selected among the top 15 companies.
Primary Bank Named Best Performing Bank in the Northeast
S&P Global Market Intelligence annually ranks the nation’s best-performing banks and credit unions. The 2022 analysis reviewed 477 eligible banks and thrifts. According to S&P Global, these rankings are based on returns, growth, and efficiency but primarily on the strength and risk profile of the institutions’ balance sheets.
The report states, “Primary Bank had an equal or higher value than the median of top 50 community banks in the region in six of the seven metrics analyzed, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data. At 51.5%, Primary recorded the highest five-year average operating revenue growth among the top 50 banks on the list, much higher than the 6.5% median recorded for all 447 eligible banks.” Read the full report from S&P Global

Primary Bank Voted the Best Bank in the 603: Primary Bank was voted best bank 2021 by the listeners of Manchester Radio Group stations, which include New Hampshire’s WZID.
Primary Bank Named Top Lender: For the fourth year in a row, Primary Bank has been named the #1 SBA lender in New Hampshire. The US Small Business Administration awarded this distinction for the volume of loans processed under the 7A guarantee program in the SBA’s fiscal year ending September 30, 2021.
